Typhoid

Vaccine: Available as a live attenuated or inactivated vaccine.

Disease: A bacterial infection that causes severe diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain, and vomiting. Typhoid can also lead to dehydration, confusion, and even death.

Advice: The live attenuated vaccine is more effective but requires a longer incubation period, so plan your vaccination accordingly. The inactivated vaccine is less effective but requires fewer doses. Both vaccines provide some protection against typhoid, but it's important to practice good hygiene, such as washing your hands frequently and drinking only purified water.
